I hope to god they decide to go ahead with shooting. Even if the move turned out to be not good (Little chance of that!) it wouldstill be worth it... just to see Max taken in a new direction with modern day filmaking techniques and effects.

I think the only plausible, non-religious, explanation for the development of the human eye is, that it started out as a patch of light sensitive cells used to find light sources. As the simple creatures that sported this "Technology" evolved so did the light sensitive cells, being able to distinguish the difference in light patterns which in turn allowed them to make out basic shapes. I guess this evolution continued until the creature was then able to Focus, albeit not very well. I guess this must have happened over BILLIONS of years until animals had the auto focusing black and white eyes they have today. I assume that as apes grew to humans and needed to distinguish between different types of berries (or something) they developed colour sensitivity.

I don't think so, i mean every religion has it's own Holy Book, but each contradict the other so it's impossible to favour one. Anyone who looks at the issue from a scientific point of view, weighing up the Ifs and Buts always seems to conclude that there is no God/Bhudda/Allah etc.

VERY good point Uncle, in fact that was a beautiful post. I like the point you argued and what you say may be true, depending on your outlook on life. I believe that if you believe in a supremem being then it/he/she does exist, if only in your imagination. I mean for example although many would deny His existence, everybody knows who He is. Therefore god exists in our imagination and memories. [glow=blue,2,300]You're blaspheming again, I don't have to work with a blaspemer...[/glow]

Also, I think that our generation is ready for the new world. I mean the world is constantly changing, keeping up with new trends and ideas, trends and ideas that the generation of the time usually set! Also I think a lot more emphasis is placed on further education than it previously was. The majority of my peers wish to continue to university or college, rather than straight into jobs. I think that this itself is prepraration for the world. Also I think an advancement from previous generation is the fact you dont have to adhere to a trend to fit in. For example you wont get laughed at for not having An Afro, or flared jeans. As you may have in the seventies.
If I missed out anything you wanted just tell me exactly what you want me to describe.

Well I must admit Uncle I cannot speak for my entire generation.. I mean there has to be like a million 17 year old males in the world.
However I shall try to describe my hobbies, friends and outlooks on life for your benefit.
School- People my age don't like school, it's that simple I dont like school but like my peers understand a good education is necessary in order to succeed in life.
Friends- I have many friends within school, however I limit my social circle outwith school in order to be able to have a close group of friends who I am intimate with, rather than having many friends who I do not know as well as I should. MY friend's are of mixed backgrounds and race, that kind of stuff doesnt seem to matter any more. People my age are divided into categories, mostly by the music they like. The most common groups you come across are Moshers (Skater punk), Goth (well I guess youknow what a goth is) and people who dont really care and are open to many things (like myseld ;D)
Hobbies- I enjoy movies, both at home and at the cinema, me and my friends usually spend our time going to the cinema, shopping in town and playing computer games. However Im also into mountain biking and partly into skateboarding.
Now surprisingly enough a lot of discussion at school at morning and lunch breaks has been of the War in Iraq, sometimes criticism, sometimes appreciation. I cannot say that I would strongly anti-war I like to see an oppressed Nation freed as much as the next guy, but I know some of my peers were against the "invasion".
Apart from very important world issues my friends are content to talk about tv and games and music the rest of the time.
We dont really think about other generations much, there seems to be enough to talk about within our own!
As for my intelligence... English has always been my strong point, hence the ability to communicate my opnion well. However I can't say Im very academic. I am truly awful at maths having scored probably the worst in my year at the previous Preliminary exam (17% lol).
LOl now Uncle, you HAVE to tell me all about yourself!
