Just when you thought Max was mad...

Aww...this is nuthin' much I guess. I just wanna point out the simple fact that though Max may have indeed gained a reputation as being "Mad" after the murder of his family and best friend, in the premise of Beyond Thunderdome--most of the people alongside Max (friends and fiends alike) are madder than Max can ever be! Heh-heh. The new wave of barbarism--the lewd, crude, shrewd and rude of the future.

And you thought Max was mad. Well, mad as in angry perhaps. He sort of exhibited that when he was duped into fighting Blaster and almost made to kill him. I just kinda sensed that when he said "This wasn't part of the deal." I think he was even madder though when Savannah and the others escaped the Crack In The Earth to find Tomorrow-Morrow Land. He was d**n irritated when he was asked to find them. ("Stop the noise!")

Oh, and I hope that they take the action to the highways again in Fury Road...I miss the asphalt so much. ;D

I agree with you to a certain extent, in THUNDERDOME he's MAD because he's always rebellious, he's always against "authority" (either Aunty's and Savannah's) and general prevarication. He's one of the kind, and he know it. He's the fine line between good and evil, and he know it. Probably when he said "This WASN'T part of the deal", I think Aunty just thought: "What a fukk, this man is really mad. he's crazy! He could really have grabbed everything he'd want at that point... but he just refused !!!!! ". A bit of tantrum, because Aunty secretly liked Max

Then, I always meant "MAD" in the DAREDEVIL type of thing. Max is mad. He drove towards Aunty's army at high speed, 'bulletting' himself like a crazy rocket. He just don't care, he HAS to do the right thing --- and he uses every "vehicle" to achieve his purpouse. He's definitely an insane, unstoppable co*ky bastard.

The asphalt is going to come back this time, and so, this way, MM Beyond Thunderdome is really going to be such an unique entry in the series
