One tiny detail question...

He-he. I'm still wondering as to what was Max carrying at the very last shot of Beyond Thunderdome (before the credits start rolling). I know this may seem a little opinionated but maybe some of you might really know what it was. Thanks! [glow=red,2,300](Oh...to me, it looked like a some kind of spear.)[/glow]

They're actually two items: an old, dusty and black umbrella (partially wasted) and a "Waiting One-style" large spear.
You could see for yourself in the well-famed LES TURNER's GEORGE MILLER fansite, specifically in the gallery section.

Well, in the middle of the Wasteland you might need an umbrella, just to cover your poor head from constant and cruel sunlight. As far as concerning the spear, I realized Max really felt as one of the Waiting One by that moment, a kind of desert "Tracker" (as Savannah and the others mentioned somehow).
The spear just symbolized his enjoyment and fitness to the role. Now Max is really a sort of "Capt. Walker" for the whole (remaining) human race. He's "Him That Came To The Salvage".
How this will lead to FURY ROAD, I really don't know... it'll be not an easy ride, but who does care? I pray they 'd just begin to film as soon as they can.

Hey thanks, Uncle! I'm very happy knowing that now I don't have to wander off before I go to bed pondering on what Max was carrying.
Oh and another kudos on the Crack In The Net website! I'm a big supporter (or fan if you will of that site, believe it or not. I sure got a lot of my questions answered there. I especially liked the MFP Chronicles, Do The Tell and the Villains To The Max Section. It was awesome.
And just a suggestion...why don't you put a section showcasing Max's allies--in contrast to the Villains To The Max section. I was also kind of planning on doing some stories on the other MFP officers, namely Charlie, Big Bopper and Fifi but I just really can't find the time these days. Ever wondered what could've happened to them after the first movie? (Maybe I'll make Charlie an exception--he really looked like the guy in the Underworld after Pig Killer's introduction to Max, didn't he? Might truly be him.) I sure would like to know your theories on these ones!
Last one up 'fore I retire...I've got the littlest information on who or what the [glow=red,2,300]Dark One[/glow] is. Does anyone have some more info on him? Or her? Or what? (He-heh, you might know this one Uncle.)

I'm glad you enjoyed my work...I can reveil you there will be MUCH MORE stuff to come, in my site. Hold your breath, this is just the beginning of the rollercoaster.

The DARK ONE was Max's partner at the time of the yellow Interceptor patrolling. Some M.F.P official lieutenant moved him from the roads to the country "job" --- he's the Bronze Sheriff who helped Max and Jessie with the well-famed Cundalini's hand affair. The mark on the Interceptor just remained: MAX/THE DARK ONE.

Charlie in Underworld...Mmm I think Max spent enough time working there, and he just didn't seem to recognize his former partner. So I guess it's not Charlie, but someone very looking like.

Fifi, Roop... the M.F.P Police scattered throughout Australia... well, it's all over. I think there are very few chances they survived.

Wrangler, FURY ROAD will give us much more to talk about, that's for sure! And we didn't even face all the points raised by the previous three movies, figure it out !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, so he was the one. He looks a lot different from the other Bronze officers—and though he doesn’t really begin to describe it, he does look “dark”.

Gee…I didn’t noticed his name being mentioned and all. Maybe I wasn’t paying any attention again. Anyway, I thought Max was with Goose all along—or were they even partners? (Well…I guess not since Max and Goose have individual vehicles after all.)

Hmmm…the M.F.P.’s gone, that’s for certain. But I’d like to think that most of the Bronze made it. I love those guys. They sure did bloodied up a lot of bad-guy noses when they were still active—or worse. Anyway, thanks again for the info, Uncle.

Well, from a certain point of view, the Bronzes were really the only ones enough smart and experienced to survive by the Pox-Eclipse. I think they all had their chances to make it. Granted, Max was the best one, and he was STILL the only one who fitted better in the new world the society downhill created. After all, Bartertown citizens weren't policemen at all, and they managed to survive the same. Busted up, yes, but alive. Or just think to the Defenders (from the Refinery).
Anyway, who does really know?... At the end of the day, it was FATE which "picked up" who had to survive and who hadn't, isn't it?
