Tycho,
The MM1 novelization bubbled about the "Bryson Williams" half-assed point, but in the MOVIE (the real, only and ONE source) the TV reporter said Nightrider's real name was MONTAZANO.
I don't remember the birthday's name too.

Tycho, I just don't remember if it was "CRAWFORD MONTAZANO" or "CRAWFORD MONTIZANO". Unfortunately, I don't get a decent copy of "MAD MAX 1" (still waiting for the special edition DVD) so all you can do is... stretch your ears and try to listen the correct spelling from the DVD audio track!

Right, I just checked, The newscaster merely says Montazano. And the subtitles say "...Montazano who merely called himself the Nightrider"

Montazano. Then I was basically right. I wrote the name in the file of "VILLAINS TO THE MAX" long long time ago. Where did the "Crawford" come up?

LoL perhaps (and this is a long shot) but Jessie makes a weird noise aort of a sigh grunt thing when she and Max get up sort of like "Graawwwffaww" JUST before the newscaster says Montazano... perhaps that was mistaken for Crawford? LOL anyway I'll have anohter look tomorrow.

I really have no clue about this stuff. But does anyone know how to fix a broken nail. I was in mid-manicure, when it broke. Hurts like a bugger too. EWWW, it's bleeding. Think I will have to go cry now.
