Who is the real "villain" out of the two? Who is more evil?
AUNTY ENTITY is a sympathetic character, very charming, a lot attractive to either males and females --> fundamentally we're talking about a first rate Bit*h! Actually, Aunty is real scary because - in the first place - she brought on this concept of the "civilization, cost to cost" as a fukkin' religion, 'til the point she would fill people's mouths with sh*t in order to achieve HER da*n purposes. She doesn't care about "humanity" (whatever it means) but only about "civilization" --- they're two different things, for CHRIST'S SAKE !!!!!!!!
She was basically a warrior woman in the RW Era. Now, she's a leader, despite BARTERTOWN keeps being a sleeze pit. You're not really much free there. You're not really "right" there in terms of morality. You're breathing a kind of well-planned illusion --- civilization began in the MOMENT you're well aware about your past and sensitive towards it, but BARTERTOWN's people have no PAST, or just refuse it, so they can't really build up a "better tomorrow" as the propaganda says. BARTERTOWN has been based on lack of empathy, comprension and spirituality... it should be seen as the magnified eye of capitalism. They CHOSE to not have a past, an history anymore --- they chose forgiveness and everything it implies. That's quite sad. Forgiveness usually leads to beasty levels, where you use to live going through emotions, with no viable FEELINGS.
MASTER was just a freak from day one. BLASTER was also a freak. They combined their gifts and faults to turn themself into POWER at its purest state. MASTER probably hates the way AUNTY is misleading BARTERTOWN. After all, he's a genius. The SATURDAY NIGHT frenzy he sparks is a clear way to say: "C'mon, just HAVE FUN... DRINK and SMOKE, because CIGARETTES and LIQUOR BOTTLES are just fukkin' SUPPLIES... you NEED empathy, in the first place. So, just have fun with the others --- we're all brothers".
Master-Blaster treated Max so badly at Underworld because... well, because Max appeared to be just like the garbage and the skag out of there. Indeed, if memory serves me well, Max was Aunty's pawn at that time.
Funnily enough, MILLER intended the SATURDAY NIGHT sequence as MASTER-BLASTER's both personal show of brutality towards people and maximum attempt of destabilization, in which the LIVING might have full access to all their lower insticts... I think he turned his mind about the sequence, and it definitely gained a new imprint during the filming.
Hope to be clear here.
