Guys, I always loved this character, and always will. It's one of my faves, despite the fact his screen time is actually limited. GEORGE SPARTELS did a magnificent jop, playing this trickster/ruffian/wannabe fighter... and first of all, he's a mechanic! I have some points to ponder with you, if you really want: 1- The first time Max has been introduced to Underworld, Master-Blaster didn't care about our hero at all, because as we all know there was that impelling trouble of the BOOBY TRAP-equipped junkmobile... BOOM! I don't remember how much dynamite Max put below his junkmobile ("it's a class job") but for what I reckoned, it was a very LARGE amount, ready to explode. Anyway, Master-Blaster trusted in Blackfinger, despite Master apparently hated the man. Well, some of you just remember HOW Master called Blackfinger in the very first time? He said something like that: "Where is that kind of mechanic, Blackfinger"... I just can't remember what was the specific word Master used to define Blackfinger - Plus, I'm Italian. Anyway, that means Blackfinger wasn't that great as mechanic, and he could not replace Master in Bartertown second run, in my humble opinion ;D Maybe he was the mainman for the Junkmobiles... but definitely NOT a replacement to the engineering mind of Master. 2- I always wondered why Blackfinger belongs to Master in the Saturday Night scene. He's a real two-timer! 3- Blackfinger and his involvement with the chase scene. If you think for a while, Aunty SHOULDN'T use Blackfinger in such a dangerous operation... he was the only mechanic she got at that time. On the other hand, Blackfinger was the only one to know how to repair the damaged Junkmobiles (it seems he built them up, maybe that's why they all trust in him). Aunty couldn't pay risks to be struck in the middle of the Wasteland with her QUEEN WASP out of the business. The problem is that Blackfinger made the hero in a couple of action scenes - HA HA! Poor Aunty, she was really desperate I guess. Just some points, guys.

It's strange. God George Miller himself commented about Kevin Costner's Waterworld in these terms: "It is a fine line between homage and plagurism". I'm personally found of any Mad Max rip-off movie out of there, because - Thanks to Max - I became a post-apocalyptic scenario fan long long time ago: I collect tons of post-apoc movies and books indeed, usually spending a lot of movies. MY collection is very big, and I welcome every type of post-apocalyptic movie (REIGN OF FIRE was overall not that good, but enjoyable for my Mad Max tastes, if you know what I mean). If the "Mad Max Saga" created a genre, it wasn't the post-apocalyptic one... it was the "POST-MODERN ADVENTURE", which is a slightly different thing in my book. I knew about "LUNAR COP", anyway. They aired here, somehow.

Forget Matrix Reloaded and all that sh*t, that's the definitive philosophical action movie --- and the action is unbelievable, still after all this time! Beautiful and frightening. MMBT is the definitive masterpiece. Just noticed 1000 things I truly didn't catch the previous million of times I watched it. It seems Max said to Slake "thanks", and not "relax", when he caught the spear-gun! And hey, never known Slake said before the Tell "Savannah tumbled Walker" --- that's great, since they are actually placed in a CRACK where - from the Waiting Ones's point of view -people just use to roll into it... pretty genius! Strangely (or not?) this time I found the Chase Scene much more "climatic" than the Thunderdome Arena Fight. Both delivers thrills and excitement, great cinematography, vision, fire and passion! Another thing: did Aunty Entity say to Bartertown: "Find the Little Man... bring him back to me... ALIVE! And for those who TOKE him..." --- was it "toke" or "took"? To toke means to smoke or to engage... and that's pretty interesting.

Well, CIAK MAGAZINE is the major and "ultimate" movie magazine by all means, here in Italy. There are no adversaires, no foes in sight. It's the best-selling, greatest issue focused on movies, actors, DVD, cinema and much more surrounding our precious celluloid world. In a regular section devoted to the movie-celebrative "websites", they wrote a middle-lenghted excerpt on my site. They called the article "A SITE BEYOND THE THUNDERDOME". They also placed a pic of Max (Max and Dog, on the cliff, awakening in the middle of the night --- you can see it in my FACTS section too). It recites: "Tiziano Caliendo loved so much the movie Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome to the point he built up a celebrative site (but why in english?). In MAD MAXED you can find plot, production agenda, cast comments, two galleries of pics and references to the saga. And because the author loves the post-apocalyptic hero MORE than his own creature, he advices everyone to enjoy the enemy site www.madmaxmovies.com, where you could find the remaining infos on the saga starring Mel Gibson" That's really... WONDERFUL! But stop, wait a minute, me and Peter Barton aren't adversaires at all...

Well, from a certain point of view, the Bronzes were really the only ones enough smart and experienced to survive by the Pox-Eclipse. I think they all had their chances to make it. Granted, Max was the best one, and he was STILL the only one who fitted better in the new world the society downhill created. After all, Bartertown citizens weren't policemen at all, and they managed to survive the same. Busted up, yes, but alive. Or just think to the Defenders (from the Refinery). Anyway, who does really know?... At the end of the day, it was FATE which "picked up" who had to survive and who hadn't, isn't it?

Wrangler, I'm glad you enjoyed my work...I can reveil you there will be MUCH MORE stuff to come, in my site. Hold your breath, this is just the beginning of the rollercoaster. The DARK ONE was Max's partner at the time of the yellow Interceptor patrolling. Some M.F.P official lieutenant moved him from the roads to the country "job" --- he's the Bronze Sheriff who helped Max and Jessie with the well-famed Cundalini's hand affair. The mark on the Interceptor just remained: MAX/THE DARK ONE. Charlie in Underworld...Mmm I think Max spent enough time working there, and he just didn't seem to recognize his former partner. So I guess it's not Charlie, but someone very looking like. Fifi, Roop... the M.F.P Police scattered throughout Australia... well, it's all over. I think there are very few chances they survived. Wrangler, FURY ROAD will give us much more to talk about, that's for sure! And we didn't even face all the points raised by the previous three movies, figure it out !!!!!!!!!!!! Kick her in the guts, boy
