I've always liked the trilogy, the whole idea behind the post apocalyptic world. I'd always enjoyed the movies when they had been shown on TV. However up until about 2 years ago I did not have a DVD player. It was only after purchasing Mad Max on DVD that my love for the films was[glow=red,2,300] Relit[/glow] And then, it was even more recently that I discovered the Mad Max FAQ's forums, having frequented the actual FAQ site many times. So now, once again I am an avid fan of the trilogy.

Thanks guys. The Idea of my second site [glow=green,2,300]"The Wasteland Online"[/glow] is going to be the legends and stories told by the fictional settlers of the town [glow=green,2,300]"New Haven"[/glow] Since some of them originally came from the Great Northern Tribe they will tell stories of how The Road Warrior delivered them from the evil Lord Humungus.

[glow=green,2,300]Clever Captain[/glow]
[glow=yellow,2,300][/glow] Many Generations ago a group of settlers left the Great Nortern Tribe. Using the little skills and supplies they had they built a small town in the Wastes, designed to welcome peaceful Nomads and groups. People that Only wanted an escape from the horrors of the Post Apocalyptic ruins of society. The Settlers named the town “New Haven”. All prospective members of the society were monitored closely. A crude yet well equipped police force settled any disputes harshly but fairly. As the years passed the town grew. A small council of elders was elected, which in turn grew to become a government. The first signs of order and safety for many years radiated out across the wasteland. However none of this would have been possible if not for the bravery of one man. The original founders of the Great Northern Tribe had originally started out refining the last of the black fuel. However, others wanted the fuel. A deadly marauding gang surrounded our ancestors refinery, demanding the fuel within. But one man still held within him the fire of courage. He came to the aid of our forefathers, freeing them from the tyrannous Lord Humungous, leader of the Marauders. Our Ancestors were saved by just one man, a raggedy man, a nomad, a scavenger... A hero....

I hope to god they decide to go ahead with shooting. Even if the move turned out to be not good (Little chance of that!) it wouldstill be worth it... just to see Max taken in a new direction with modern day filmaking techniques and effects.
