Ah, understood. Well... theories are pretty cool. Look at PIG-KILLER. A smart guy who loved my site a lot came up in my e-mail address not so long time ago, writing a weird but all-in-all believable theory involving our beloved P.K. He told me he just thought Pig-Killer was one of the "Great Leaving" who - at that time - was tryin' to steal a pig from Underworld in order to "fed the kids", 'til the Guardsmen discovered him. He headed my attention to the scene it seemed Pig-Killer recognized Eddie through the clothes, the weirdo hair-style and the fact the kid was wild. It makes sense. Who does really know? I think the GYRO/JEDEDIAH point is MUCH more than a theory. After all... we're talkin' about an actor, ONE actor... BRUCE SPENCE

Guys, I'm a little bit embarassed here. I know MM Beyond T-dome gets tons of unreveiled secrets... ev'ry year I discover something new related to this unique jewel. When did the kids say "hey, Co-Pilot" to Jedediah? In the MM3 SCRIPT, the kids called Max's monkey "Co-pilot". Probably, when Miller drop the sequences involving the monkey from the shooting, he chose to insert the "Co-pilot" thing again, this time involving Jedediah! Tycho, I think your theory is a little bit absurd. The kids/Waiting Ones have no correct "visual" memories about their past adults. Savannah Nix is barely 19 years old (?). They just re-named Jedediah "Co-pilot" because they sensed he was Max's friend, and Max is the "pilot", of course (in their twisted perception). The kid (Junior) was Jedediah/Gyro and Lusty Girl's son. Lusty Girl died 'cause hard nuclear winter (one of the many), and Jed deserted his role as "Captain" of the Great Northern Tribe. That's all. Anyway, when did they call him "Co-Pilot"?

Mad Maxians: The truth, nothing but the truth. Miller started with the idea Jedediah would have been a DIFFERENT character. I read the script, and the script seems to me pretty clear on the point. JEDEDIAH was supposed to be a different character. Then, fortunately SPENCE agreed to play the role, and Miller's beautiful mind changed on the same essay of the character: he's now GYRO, only 15 years AFTER. EVIDENCE: 1- MAD MAX spent very few time in Bartertown ("the sleazy pit"). Two or three days. He never met JEDEDIAH face to face. Yeah, JED was still part of the Thunderdome crowd, but Max was a little bit busy, dealing with Blaster's fury to recognize him... isn't it? When the Flying Jalopy managed to stole Max's caravan at the beginning of the movie, Max COULDN'T see who DEPREDATED his goods. It happened far away from his sight. It was impossible. The Jalopy planed on the caravan, balanced-off Max's body, and the caravan just keept running on the sandway... then, after a little bit of time, Jedediah jumped on the driver seat. Max was miles behind. THEN... HOW DID MAX managed to RECOGNIZE HIM at the (almost) end of the chase scene? How did MAX suppose that Jedediah was truly connected to the plane? The answer: because he was GYRO, and JEDEDIAH JR. was very similar to GYRO/JEDEDIAH in terms of look-like. Max is smart, d**n smart! He made 2+2= 4. There is a plane in the Wasteland. There is Gyro too. Then, Gyro runs the plane. Simple. Max kept to treat him bad --- despite he was his former "ally" Gyro --- because in the Wasteland environment FRIENDSHIP couldn't exist anymore. It's a fight for survival. After all, Gyro f**ked him, stoling the caravan in the first place. In the script, at the Bartertown's entrance Max asked to Collector and - later - to Dr.Dealgood about a "man with a weird laughing". The part was never filmed, fortunately. From Max's point of view, it would have been impossible to hear Jedediah's laughing while the guy was stealing his own caravan. And at the end, of the day, how did Jedediah manage to recognize Max in Bartertown's market, if Max was wearing a turbant covering is face at the time Jed stole the caravan? I like the idea JEDEDIAH/GYRO told MORE about Max's story and previous events to Savannah and the men who built up "HOME" (SYDNEY) at the end of the movie. This way, the legend of Max is done in the "proper" way. Savannah and the others knew what he did at the RW time straight from Jedediah's mouth. Eventually, they knew about his real name (yes, Master knew it too).

I believe I ran out of things to say! However I'm back for now so I'll try to play a bigger part in all this fandom stuff... after all, we Thunderdome fans need to stick together! Yeah! Can't believe you have no more things to say. Is this a test, Walker?!

It's still looking as awesome, if not better than ever Uncle! I believe my favourite is the Cow car, or West Fantom as it has been re-christened. Tycho, What does it happen to you? Why did you disappear so abruptly? I MISSED YOU, d**n! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! The fandom needs you!
