Kind of. I believe in God... maybe I don't trust in the "vision" through people use to approach to the whole concept.

Really isn't that clear? Impossible! I feel a little bit offended to death here, LOL! ;D
Okay, I has been humiliated. Anyway:
Both directions feature a factual, in-deep, catartic evolution.
Good or bad direction that is, it doesn't matter at all. It's YOUR direction in both senses. Direction can bring to evolution. A deep, inner evolution.
Ev'ry man has to follow his own path, necessarely. The run on the path (call it "fate") is the REAL direction of your specific evolution.
Doom is the direction of your evolution, doom is the ROAD you have to run in order to evolve into someone/something else: the ultimate "self". I'm speaking about your personal, individual doom which fluxes into the generic, collective doom.
Ev'ry man is an essential component of one "mechanics". His role/direction inside that mechanic structure HAS to be specific, and determinate: good or bad, it's a necessary direction inside the mechanics.
It's like a car. You're part of an huge high-powered car. Now, it doesn't matter if you're a clean or a dirty component, either cases you're a factor which truly permits to the car to work!
If one component works, all the system truly works as it had to be. Ironically, following the path means to be free --- all at the same time. As paradoxal as it could sound.
you're free... because you're free to "run" on the road of your evolution. This evolution is pre-programmed. That's destiny. I said "DESTINY" because THERE is actually a force/energy/consciousness behind our lives. God? maybe.
Was I clear this time?

You're evolving right now. By reading this topic. By learning a little piece of knowldege. By meditating on a new detail --- never noticed before. The evolution of the one equals the evolution of many. The evolution of the one DOES the evolution of the many.

We have been created. Then we evolve through living. If you don't evolve, you're not really living, but just "tasting" a little bit of it. Frankly. Sometimes, people have been created, but it truly stopped to evolve since childhood, or early maturity. I think spiritual and cultural evolution is the greatest prodigy a man would ever see. Unfortunately, spiritual and cultural evolution is not so "trendy", today. That's why we resemble a bunch of brutal opportunists inferior to animals.

Gekko, The most of what you're sayin' is very poignant but... maybe... the real question is: Does we really have such need to "have a God"? Sometimes, we look like islands stranded in the deep oceans... seas of troubles.

I think inside OURSELF. Maybe we're just the living proof of God's existence. We and "fate" surrounding our lives: that incredible, undeniable design.
