Maybe somebody has a Tale of their adventures in the Wastes... Did I ever tell you about the time I saw the actual Road Warrior!? Saw him race out of Bartertown over there, on some sort of crazy train... looked like some twisted version of the Orient Express.
*looks round the cafe for a patron willing to tell their story*. Comeon folks life behind the counter is usually dull I need to know what you adventure seekers get up to!

We serve booze, but take note, anything with water in it liable to kill you before it makes you drunk.
Mad Max made the Atomic cafe earlier today after I requested somewhere for everyone to just talk, get to know each other and have a bit of fun.
So... what you drinkin'?

Lol, if you bought them you'd just end up constantly discussing empty theories and speculation with me and Uncle. I mean look at me, I bought the movies now I have over 70 posts. You shouldn't buy them... keep your life!

yep, Mad Max was released 7 years before I was even born! The first time I saw mad max was on TV, but I cant really remember enjoying it that much. It was when I was older that I saw Mad Max 2: Road Warrior and I was old enough to appreciate it that I grew to love it. I then saw Thunderdome a few years later and really enjoyed it too. It wasnt until about 2 years ago though that I got a DVD player and I was wanting to buy Road Warrior. However I saw Mad Max 1 in a sale and decided to buy it. To my surprise it was 10000 times better than I remembered it. After searching for the words "Mad Max" thru Google I found Peter Barton's Mad Max FAQ site and read lots of information on the trilogy. Then I was hooked. I went out and Bought Road Warrior a few months later and Thunderdome after that. It was only recently whilst looking at the MadMaxFAQ that I noticed the forums. I joined up, became a regular and Uncle Entity invited me over here. And Here I am. No Matter Where you go... there you are

YEah, I love all 4 lethal weapon movies too. Got them in the video box set. Also I own "Payback" and "Ransom". i also liked "The Patriot" when I saw it on tv for the first time recently.
Also Iwondered how this forum was formed. Since you are a "Bartertown Moderator" I assume you were here for its creation?

Well, this is my favourite board too. And I requested this section (including the cafe) for this very purpose, getting to know the members of the board.
Well i'm from the United Kingdom/Great Britain whatever you want to call it, Scotland to be more presice. I joined here because Uncle Entity recommended it to me on another Mad Max Forum. My favourite movies are the mad max trilogy (obviously). And I am seventeen years old and still in full time education. Well its the easter holidays at the moment mind.
I think that's about it.
Now... what about you?
